Regional Coordinator – Africa

A growing global movement called the Fight Inequality Alliance organizes and mobilizes to combat the disproportionate concentration of wealth and power in the hands of a small elite. We are creating a world that is equitable, just, and sustainable. With the goal of becoming the most potent worldwide movement yet to take on the power of the 1 percent, we are starting an exciting new chapter in the alliance’s history. We are starting our 10-year road map (2023 to 2033) in order to accomplish this. The alliance believes that the next ten years are crucial for defining and defending the system that will take the place of neoliberalism. We will create people-powered alternatives to the current system while organizing on a larger scale to address the injustices that affect the everyday lives of those who are directly affected by them. Regarding the position: You will oversee the execution of strategic leadership for FIA’s national and regional alliances in your capacity as the Regional Coordinator for Africa. In order to strengthen our presence at the regional and national levels, your role is essential in carrying out planning, operational, and Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) activities. You will be in charge of establishing and maintaining the Africa Regional Council, overseeing accountability, and managing governance at the regional level in Africa. You will help us achieve our ambitious goals of integrating three powerful and active Regional Alliances, reaching 20 Group A level National Alliances, and reaching 10,000 member organizations worldwide by 2027 into targeted strategies and tangible actions. What you’ll do: Bring the Africa region’s Fight Inequality Alliance together and fortify it, facilitating, igniting, and directing high-caliber coalition and regional efforts. Construct, support, and answer to the Africa Regional Council. Boost the alliance’s reputation, contacts, and profile. Make sure national alliances are closely connected both domestically and abroad. Give national alliances in the region the direction and assistance they need to accomplish their aims. Monitor the Region’s annual plans from national alliances and mobilize resources for regional secretariat integration and operations. Create reports, budgets, and plans for the regional partnership. Oversee all of the money.

We are seeking someone with at least 8 years of experience organizing and building movements at the national and regional levels. four years or more of experience managing and leading multidisciplinary teams in different regions, ideally in a non-profit or international context. extensive international campaign planning, execution, and success experience collaborating with unions, NGOs, and social movements. Experience in grant making and management. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, fluency in English (French and other languages preferred), demonstrable stakeholder engagement and collaboration with government agencies, non-governmental organizations, civil society organizations, and community groups, dedication to FIA’s values, including a strong feminist understanding, support for diversity and inclusion, and grassroots organizing, and the capacity to flourish in a fast-paced work environment and spur innovation in communication strategies.

Duties and Responsibilities
The Census Taker will be responsible for the following tasks:
Collect field data from beneficiaries of humanitarian intervention
Support the management of qualitative and quantitative survey data. Complete daily tasks assigned and submit collected notes to the supervisor. Support the documentation of lessons learned, best practices and innovations tested in program design. Eligibility Criteria
Education:
A relevant degree in social sciences or a related field (e.g., international development, public health, evaluation, statistics or economics, evaluation or a related field). Required Skills and Experience:
At least five (2) years of progressively responsible experience in designing, managing and implementing results-based RME activities. Hands-on experience in collecting qualitative and quantitative data
Experience in field research and evaluation for a donor-funded project is an asset. Hands-on knowledge in collecting data for research. Experience in conducting assessments, data collection, document/data review, transcribing survey recordings, and writing narrative reports. Specific experience with ODK and Microsoft Office suites. Experience in data analysis (for data quality sources)
Well-developed interpersonal skills in communication and relationship building. Good people management skills and excellent verbal communication skills
Ethics of telephone communication. Ability to listen, adapt, persuade to respond. Language Requirements:
Each candidate must be proficient in the following languages:
English: written and spoken
Verbal proficiency in at least two (2) Nigerian languages, which may include Igbo, Yoruba, Hausa, Efik, Kanuri, Pidgin and Uroboh

Ensure that all inventory data, including product codes, quantities, and locations, is accurately recorded and updated in the system. Investigating and resolving discrepancies between physical counts and system records. Reports:
Generate and analyze inventory audit reports, highlighting deviations, trends, and potential issues/risks. Provide detailed and timely daily/weekly/monthly reports to management, suggesting corrective actions as needed. Compliance:
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations regarding inventory management. Assist in implementing best practices to improve inventory control processes. Collaboration:
Work closely with the warehouse manager and teams to coordinate inventory audits without disrupting daily operations. Communicate effectively with relevant departments to address and resolve inventory discrepancies. Security Measures:
Work with security personnel to implement measures that prevent theft, damage or unauthorized access to storage areas. Participate in stock loss investigations and propose preventive measures.
Required Qualifications and Experience
BSc/HND or above in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Inventory Management or a related field
Must have at least 2 years experience in a supply chain/inventory management environment
Strong knowledge of MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint and general computer usage
Ability to effectively manage competing project deadlines in a high-pressure work environment with varying degrees of supervision.
