FY 2025 Notice of Funding Opportunity for NGO Programs

This Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) will support protection and humanitarian assistance activities for refugees and asylum seekers in the education sector in Chad and in the health sector in Nigeria for governmental and international non-profit organizations.

Funding Opportunity Number(FON) :  DFOP0017087

Funding Limits: Budgets must meet funding requirements and not exceed the annual floor and ceiling funding limits. Proposals with budgets exceeding these limits will be disqualified. For Chad:
Annual Funding Plan (Lowest Dollar Value): $1,000,000.
Annual Funding Limit (Highest Dollar Value): $3,400,000
For Nigeria:
Annual Funding Plan (Lowest Dollar Value): $750,000.
Annual Funding Limit (Highest Dollar Value): $1,500,000. Eligibility:
Qualified Applicants are;
Nonprofit organizations with 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, except institutions of higher education (NGOs based in the United States must be able to demonstrate their non-profit tax status).
Nonprofit organizations without 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, except institutions of higher education (NGOs based abroad must be able to demonstrate registration in the country of residence); and
International organizations. Multilateral international organizations, such as United Nations agencies, should not submit proposals through Grants.gov in response to this application. Multilateral organizations seeking funding for programs related to this announcement should contact the PRM contacts above prior to the closing date of the funding announcement.
