Data Collectors for Vaccine Wastage Rate Study

We are recruiting data collectors for a data collection exercise on vaccine wastage rates in all 37 states of Nigeria, including the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). This exercise aims to generate high-quality data to support health interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the collection of vaccination and immunization data from health facility records using digital tools (ODK). – Observe vaccination sessions and interview service providers using digital tools (ODK).
  • Ensure compliance with ethical standards, including informed consent and confidentiality. – Accurately report results to the designated Local Government Area (LGA) or State. – Work collaboratively with the project team to meet deadlines.
  • Requirements:
  • At least a Bachelor’s degree or HND. – Previous experience in field data collection projects is preferred. – Local knowledge of the target LGA or state is essential. – Must have a suitable smartphone with a strong internet connection. – Proficiency in digital tools such as ODK, Kobo Toolbox or SurveyCTO. – Proficiency in using smartphones for data entry and ability to troubleshoot basic technical issues. – Knowledge of English and local languages ​​of the target area. – Demonstrated commitment to ethical practices, including informed consent and confidentiality. – Availability throughout the data collection period. – Participation in mandatory pre-implementation training is required. – Evidence of participation in similar projects (if any).
