Apply to become a sexual and reproductive health advocate with the Chosen Inspiraa Foundation!
Sexual and reproductive health (SRH) is an essential component of overall well-being and quality of life. However, many people, especially young people, face difficulties in accessing information, services and rights related to SRH. To address these issues, the Chosen Inspiraa Foundation is launching the SRH Advocacy Program. This initiative aims to empower individuals to advocate for comprehensive SRH education, access to reproductive health services and the protection of sexual rights.
Program Objectives
- Awareness and Knowledge: Improve understanding of sexual and reproductive health issues. – Advocacy for policies and programs: Supports comprehensive SRH education and services. – Mobilizing communities: Promoting SRH rights and access to health care. – Empowering individuals: Enabling informed decision-making about sexual and reproductive life.
Program Benefits:
Participants in the SRH advocacy program gain:
- Knowledge and skills: Training in SRH education, advocacy, and leadership. – Recognition: Certification for contributions to the promotion of SRH rights. – Networking Opportunities: Connect with like-minded advocates and mentors in the SRH field. – Career Enhancement: Strengthen resumes and career prospects in public health, advocacy, and related fields. – Resources and Support: Ongoing access to resources and support from the Chosen Inspiraa Foundation and partner organizations.
Selected candidates will be onboarded and enrolled in the intensive 12-week training and advocacy program starting in February 2025.
- Eligibility Criteria
- To participate in this program, please note the following criteria before applying:
- The candidate must be a Nigerian between the ages of 18 and 35.
- Ability to commit at least 4 hours per week to the entire program.
- Ability to participate in virtual training.
- Interested in becoming an agent of development and transformation
- Applicants do not necessarily need to have prior knowledge of SRH
