Job Summary
The Stakeholder Relations Officer is responsible for supporting the initiation and coordination of strategic relationships and partnerships with communities/facilities, healthcare professionals, local government, community service organizations and other relevant stakeholders to improve the program.
The role will also consist of protecting and promoting the organization’s reputation.

Job Responsibilities
Advocacy to improve coverage (30%):
Develop opportunities to engage religious and community leaders to build goodwill for the ABAE study and intervention
Create pathways to engage fathers and mothers in the settlements
Engage in strengthening relationships with key ABAE government, faith partners, NGOs and NGOs
Take immediate action to address supply issues and provide early warning of any other potential issues.
Help organize events to raise awareness for the ABAE intervention.

SERICC (20%) :
Raise awareness of SERICC and promote the NI/ABAE initiative within SERICC
Promote ABAE goals and objectives in meetings
Engage partners and create networks.

CCT (20%) :
Improve positive perception of CCT to improve access
Create awareness and coverage of KKT
Networks (20%) :
To maintain good relations with staff of the Ministry and the State Agency for the Development of Primary Health Care
Build relationships to facilitate stakeholder engagement, including up to the governor’s office.

Security Awareness (5%):
Reports all security incidents in operations areas, including incidents that do not directly involve personnel and/or operations
Assume responsibility for personal safety and security of team members, as appropriate, while in the field
Reads and understands all security documents in the context of operations, including SOPs and site security plan
Other special tasks/projects (5%):
Other requirements as may be assigned by management.

Main requirements
Education and professional experience:
HND, B.Sc or equivalent
Professional qualifications in the NGO sector will be advantageous.
1 to 3 years of relevant experience (preferably in an NGO).

Skills and Abilities:
Nigerian nationals are already established in the target countries for this position.
At least a bachelor’s degree, preferably in health or other natural sciences
Experience with the Nigerian health system and clinical documentation, particularly in relation to child health and immunization
Passion for helping others and reducing child mortality
Excellent communication and writing skills, English, Hausa and dialects (verbal and written)
Excellent response to email and telephone inquiries
Proficient in Microsoft Word/Excel, internet browsers, smartphones and new communication technologies in general
Motivation to work in a new organization that is constantly evolving based on stakeholder feedback and operates with a lean structure
Language Requirements:
Fluency in English (speaking, reading and writing) is required.
Knowledge of Hausa language (speaking and reading) is an advantage.
