Capacity Building at the Health Fund
The Health Fund knows that nonprofits play a critical role in enabling individuals and communities across the state to improve their health. Every day we see organizations working diligently toward a healthier Michigan, often constrained by tight budgets, limited funding, and small scale. We strive to equip health nonprofits with the funding, tools, and training they need to improve their work and focus on their mission. To that end, we offer a range of options for grantees to help them develop and find additional skills.
The Capacity Building Grants Program helps health-focused community organizations become stronger and more effective institutions in their communities, allowing them to devote more time and energy to their mission. It also supports collaborative efforts among providers, service agencies, and community organizations to address health issues in a collaborative and sustainable manner.
The Health Fund provides grants of up to $200,000 for organizational and collaborative capacity building projects.
