Job Scope
Responsible for coordinating data collection, entry and verification with assigned project staff (based on the project monitoring and evaluation plan) to ensure the accuracy and reliability of data collected and monthly update of the project database, project indicator monitoring table and other monitoring and evaluation tools.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for implementing the project monitoring and evaluation framework, which includes preparing the monitoring and evaluation plan, the implementation plan for monitoring and evaluation activities in close coordination with the program department and in accordance with Takaful Al. Scam’s monitoring and evaluation policy and procedures. Participate in the development of operational monitoring and evaluation tools (e.g. questionnaires, databases, data collection forms and methodologies, etc.)
Responsible for coordinating data collection, input and verification with assigned project staff (based on the project monitoring and evaluation plan) to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the data collected. Monthly update of the project database, project indicator monitoring table and other monitoring and evaluation tools.
Leads the field M&E team, creates implementation plans and disseminates M&E report results to relevant departments in a timely manner. Represent the department and ensure effective participation in meetings and workshops with partners, donors and other parties. Monitor the daily work of M&E field officers in Syria. Ensure that all target communities have the CARM “grievance response mechanism”. Assist project staff to ensure sufficient community participation in all phases of project implementation. Participate in the design and management of needs assessments. Report daily, monthly and annual plans to the MEAL Coordinator. Participate in internal and external meetings related to the MEAL department. Adhere to the organization’s code of conduct. Ensure that accountability and safeguarding procedures are respected and followed, and that any observations are reported. Protect the dignity of beneficiaries and do no harm. Respect and implement all safeguarding principles against sexual exploitation and abuse and the child protection policy, as well as the obligation to report any incidents of sexual exploitation or abuse or any breach of the safeguarding policy. Comply with all Takaful Al Sham organization policies and comply with administrative orders and disciplinary procedures in case of violations. Commit to complying with Takaful Al Sham’s zero tolerance policy on sexual exploitation and abuse and promptly reporting any violations in this regard. Perform any other duties assigned by the line manager. All employees must observe standards of professional conduct and adhere to Takaful Al-Sham’s policies and procedures and adhere to humanitarian and relief standards and principles.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Holder of at least one institute certificate, preferably in scientific fields. Three years of experience in a similar position. Advanced skills in English and Arabic. Good experience with data analysis programs Excel, Power BI, SPSS and report writing. Good understanding of humanitarian principles and context. Flexibility regarding work priorities and tasks assigned by the M&V coordinator.

The Census Taker will be responsible for the following tasks:

Education:
A relevant degree in social sciences or a related field (e.g., international development, public health, evaluation, statistics or economics, evaluation or a related field). Required Skills and Experience:
At least five (2) years of progressively responsible experience in designing, managing and implementing results-based RME activities. Hands-on experience in collecting qualitative and quantitative data
Experience in field research and evaluation for a donor-funded project is an asset. Hands-on knowledge in collecting data for research. Experience in conducting assessments, data collection, document/data review, transcribing survey recordings, and writing narrative reports. Specific experience with ODK and Microsoft Office suites. Experience in data analysis (for data quality sources)
Well-developed interpersonal skills in communication and relationship building. Good people management skills and excellent verbal communication skills
Ethics of telephone communication. Ability to listen, adapt, persuade to respond. Language Requirements:

Generate and analyze inventory audit reports, highlighting deviations, trends, and potential issues/risks. Provide detailed and timely daily/weekly/monthly reports to management, suggesting corrective actions as needed. Compliance:

Required Qualifications and Experience

Must have at least 2 years experience in a supply chain/inventory management environment
Strong knowledge of MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint and general computer usage
Ability to effectively manage competing project deadlines in a high-pressure work environment with varying degrees of supervision.
