Job Description
Maintains up-to-date records and information regarding all financial transactions and contracts. Assists the Senior Analyst in preparing and updating the organization’s annual budget and short-term contracts, including proposed, approved, and amended budget documents and all departmental budget documents. Maintains an effective financial reporting system utilizing accounting software and spreadsheets. Assists in the preparation of weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reports used to monitor/track expenses and net capital expenditures. Assists in the development of specialized expense reports as required. Communicate budget procedures and information with staff, vendors, and clients. Provide technical accounting and financial assistance to operations, technology, and general services staff. Provide support in maintaining a cost/fund accounting system and conducting cost-per-service studies for all departments.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or economics
1-2 years of experience in corporate finance or similar experience
Strong analytical and data collection skills
Excellent problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal and communication skills. Well-developed computer skills including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Strong analytical skills, work ethic, independence, and a positive overall attitude. Strong computer knowledge and skills, including extensive knowledge of spreadsheets, databases, and word processing.
