Connecting health systems leaders for transformational impact. One cohort at a time.Transform. Impact. Community. Canadian health care leaders are looking for ways to revitalize, reimagine, and reorganize to adapt to an ever-changing world. Developing new skills to enhance existing capabilities is essential in an ever-evolving business environment. The National Health Fellows Program connects talented leaders, representing all parts of the health system, with skilled leaders, “new powerhouses,” educators, complex change facilitators, and mentors to strengthen the networks, behaviors, and evidence-based tools needed to advance health and wellness across the health system.
Be part of a growing movement to reimagine our national health ecosystem to deliver more for you, your organization, your patients, your employees, your communities, your world.
Over the course of 6 months, you will develop a deep understanding of how to create a leadership culture that embraces a systems thinking mindset, gain practical skills and tools to develop your leadership capabilities, and apply them in practice to… life-changing opportunities and challenges within your organization and across the health system.
By the end of the program, you will be able to:
Understand and use different frameworks to solve complex problems in your organization
Improve your ability to self-manage and create meaningful engagement with others
Improve your skills to understand and solve complex problems by overcoming obstacles to execution
Improve your ability to build partnerships across multiple internal and external boundaries
Become an integral part of a national network of like-minded leaders seeking to drive change in our health system
Contribute to the future of health leadership in Canada through co-creation and design of future iterations of the Health Leadership Academy program and activities.
