Founded in 2013, Global Rights Compliance is an international human rights foundation specializing in international humanitarian law, international criminal law, and corporate human rights. Global Rights Compliance’s mission is to deliver justice through the innovative application of international law. We operate in conflict-affected and high-risk areas around the world, in over 45 countries. Headquartered in Kyiv, Ukraine, the GRC is part of the Atrocity Crimes Advisory Group (ACA), established by the United States, the EU, and the United Kingdom to assist and facilitate Ukrainian law enforcement in criminal investigations and prosecutions of international crimes. Special expert groups known as Mobile Justice Teams (MJTs) are composed of legal specialists and operate in Kyiv and the regions to provide strategic advice and operational assistance to the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine (OPG) in the investigation and prosecution of atrocity crimes in Ukraine. . Our legal specialists work closely with investigators and prosecutors to support the prosecution of international crimes, advising and assisting with documentation, investigation and prosecution.
GRC team members hold leadership positions as prosecutors, investigators, lawyers and legal advisors, leading and supporting major investigations and building prosecution cases with national prosecution agencies around the world.
We are seeking a Program Manager to join our international team. The Program Officer will have significant experience in supporting, developing and managing rule of law programs. They will primarily assist the Project Director and Chief of Staff in project planning, project and program support, and monitoring the progress of all projects, ensuring compliance with donor rules and terms and the results of each project.
Role
Assists in the implementation, coordination and management of programs. Supports RCMP management in the execution of program activities. Coordinates with various teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth program execution. Assists in developing project plans, objectives and timelines. Monitors program progress against established milestones and achievements. Monitor key performance indicators and evaluate program results. Maintain program documentation, including project files, data, and reports. Assist in preparing regular progress reports, status updates, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders. Ensure proper documentation of meetings, decisions, and action items. Assist with budget tracking, expense control, and financial reporting. Collaborate with the Chief of Staff, Finance, Human Resources and Procurement teams to ensure efficient allocation of resources across projects. Perform monthly administrative tasks such as verifying invoices, timesheets, and ensuring appropriate approvals. Assist in the organization and coordination of meetings, seminars and other program events. Background:
At least 5 years of progressive, responsible experience in project or program management, business administration, or related fields is required. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Experience working in a post-Soviet country/legal system is desirable. Practical experience working in the broader field of the rule of law is desirable. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maintain a high level of professionalism. Excellent attention to detail. Excellent writing skills in English. Ukrainian writing skills are considered an asset. Fluency in spoken English is an asset. Knowledge of the Ukrainian language is an advantage.
