Grant Application Process
- To begin the grant application process, please complete the online application form during the designated open application period. Once we receive your application, we will assess its eligibility. If you are deemed eligible, you will be assigned a unique grant reference number and provided with a link to submit the full grant application. Please ensure that you submit only one application per project per person. Applications are accepted annually in February and July via our website. Once the Foundation receives the maximum number of applications, the online grant application form page is disabled and the applicant must wait until the next cycle to submit an application. The Foundation does not accept applications by email. Therefore, we encourage all applicants to complete the online grant application form as soon as possible.
- Please complete the grant application in its entirety and ensure that all required supporting documentation is included, such as professional cost estimates, proforma invoices, maps, photos, etc. It is essential to upload and attach all supporting documents directly to the online application form. Please note that we do not accept documents by email or post. Therefore, all documents must be submitted at the time of application. Please note that any documents received by other means will not be considered. 3. All applications must be accompanied by a letter of approval from the local diocesan Ordinary or a senior diocesan official. The letter may also come from the local superior of the applicant’s religious order. These letters must be written on official letterhead and have the appropriate stamp. In addition, the letters must explicitly mention the approval of the specific project and include the relevant grant reference number.
- Deadlines
- All applications must be submitted exclusively during the designated funding cycle and by invitation only. Please ensure that your application is submitted by the deadline, as we cannot accept early submissions or carry over to subsequent funding rounds.
- Summer Funding Round Deadline: March 31
- Winter Funding Round Deadline: September 30
- Only applications submitted through the link provided by the foundation will be considered for funding. These applications must include any additional documents requested as attachments. Applications and documents received by email or post will no longer be accepted. We strongly advise all interested parties to refrain from sending documents by mail, as the foundation has moved to a paperless system.
- Due to the large number of applications the foundation receives, we are unfortunately unable to fund all proposed projects. The inquiry period for the summer funding cycle will begin in February, while for the winter funding cycle it will begin in July. We strongly encourage all organizations to check our website regularly for updates on the start of the grant cycle and to submit their requests and applications as soon as possible.
