The United Nations Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) Youth is pleased to announce the launch of its Local Pathways fully funded fellowship 2025.
This globally program is designed to empower passionate young people who are committed to advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in their local communities.
The fully funded fellowship provides an unprecedented opportunity for young leaders to gain knowledge, build networks, and implement transformative projects that address pressing global challenges.
Eligibility Criteria
The Local Pathways Fellowship aims to attract a diverse group of young leaders from around the world. To qualify, candidates must:
Be between 18 and 30 years old.
Demonstrate a strong commitment to sustainable development and the SDGs.
Have experience or interest in urban planning, community development or related fields.
Have excellent communication and project management skills.
Be able to dedicate approximately 10 hours per week to exchange activities.
Exchange Activities
As a local street researcher, you will:
Develop local projects: identify sustainability challenges in your community and design innovative projects to address them.
Attend training modules: Attend a series of virtual training sessions on SDG localization, urban sustainability, and project implementation.
Collaborate with your peers: Work closely with your peers to share ideas, perspectives and best practices.
Engage with stakeholders: Collaborate with local governments, NGOs and community organizations to maximize the impact of your projects.
Showcase your work: Showcase your projects and achievements through reports, webinars and global events organized by SDSN Youth.
